When will Henry come?
Posted on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at 8:00 amIt’s just under a month until Henry’s projected due date so I’d like to open the predictions market for the date of Henry’s arrival.
The Contest
Leave a comment that includes the date you expect Henry to come. The person (or persons) that comes closest will get a glossy photo of Henry in his coming home from the hospital outfit signed by Henry! Predictions must be submitted by September 1.
The Facts
To help your prediction, here’s what we know so far:
- Henry’s official due date is September 23.
- At his 30 week ultrasound he was in the 75-percentile for overall size
- Erin’s doctor says big babies are no more likely to come early
- Erin’s doctor says she won’t let Henry be more than a week late
- James has repeatedly asked Henry to not come until after September 12
September 11. Reasons: 1) He can share a birthday with his mother. 2) Kids never do what you tell them to. Oops…did I say that out loud? Sorry, James.

My call is Sept 23, right on the money. You have been so organized through the last 8 months, there's no reason to doubt the last month will be any less on-schedule.
Since I will be out of town the weekend prior to the birth, I am guessing he will come on Saturday, September 19th in the wee hours of the morning…as I am headed into the fields of La Pryor, Texas to hunt white-wing doves.
It's inevitable.
Sept 22. It's a nice number.
September 25. Gotta be. Sharing a b-day with James' favorite uncle would only be right and proper.
I'm going with September 24th…and I also am betting that Henry is not as big as they think. and I'll bet further that he will NOT be as big as Parker
Henry could come on my birthday: Sept 16th. I've used it pretty well for the last 51 years, but would be oh so happy to "share my day" with your special boy!
Thanks for all the predictions. Erin had another doctor appointment today but no new information that would be useful.
We really want that picture , we are pretty sure it will be the 23rd.
Erin arrived a few days early, so I think Henry will arrive on Sept. 17.

I say Henry will give mom a little break by coming just a little early- Sept 21st.
I'm going to go with the 20th he'll like numbers divisible by 2,5, and 10
