A few days ago Henry’s Granny stopped by to hang out with Henry and Erin. Apparently, Erin was able to talk her into both trying the Baby Bjorn and getting her picture taken while wearing it.

Henry hanging out with Granny.
Since we’re introducing food into Henry’s life, it’s also time to introduce a highchair to our house. Granny and Granddad’s bible study class at their church gave the highchair to us as a gift shortly after Henry was born. Since there wasn’t an immediate need for it, Granny and Granddad agreed to store it at their house until Henry turned of age.
That moment is now, so here is Henry and his highchair.
Our surprise snow day turned out to be one for the record books. Dallas got eight to nine inches in one day! Needless to say, we forced Henry back out for more pictures. He only lasted about five minutes though before he decided it was too cold. Tigerman on the other hand loves the snow. He enjoyed sitting, laying and rooting in the snow.
We woke up this morning to a surprise snow covered yard. The entire Dallas area got an inch and a half last night. So, I took a picture of Henry in the snow.

Doesn't my dad realize it's cold out here?
Recent cold weather has meant that outings for Henry include a head covering. Here are Erin and Henry both sporting their cold weather hats.

We're still not sure what type of ears those are on Henry's hat.

"As if making me where a hat with ears on it wasn't embarrassing enough."
At Henry’s four month doctor’s appointment, his doctor said that we could start feeding him small amounts of food. Erin had prepared our family for this momentous news a few days earlier by buying a box of rice cereal and plastic spoons.
So later that evening, we embarked on a journey that will leave our home messier place.
As you can tell, Henry wasn’t overly thrilled with this new experience but his genetics pre-dispose him eventually enjoying meal time. One important lesson we learned was to always use a bib. Apparently the people who gave us bibs at showers already knew that but we catch on pretty quick.
One of my favorite things about Henry so far is his smile. You can’t help but love a kid who gives you big smile like this.

We think there's a small chance he'll be a charmer.
Erin and I went on a date a few nights ago and left Henry in the excellent care of his Granny and Granddad. We weren’t worried at all but they shared photos to prove he had a great time.

We assume those crusts weren't Henry's doing...
