Since Henry has mastered the art of holding his head up, we decided it was time to invest in some attractions that took advantage of this new found ability. Thanks to some money from YaiYai and a few left over Wal-Mart gift cards, we ordered a Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo
.
While he wasn’t too sure about it at first, he has started to really enjoy spending time jumping in it.

All three VanDyke boys asleep on the couch.
I’m the photographer for most of our pictures but occasionally Erin gets a hold of the camera and catches me unaware.

One of my favorite toys growing up were Legos. So naturally, Henry needed his first Lego set early on. Especially since the Lego helicopter and race car on his dresser aren’t entirely age appropriate.
So fresh from the official Lego store in Northpark Mall we purchased Henry Duplo set number 5645, Farm Bike. It’s actually more of a four wheeler than a bike but we’ll look past the cross-cultural naming faux-pas. We’ll also have to look past the fact that they inaccurately labeled the set for ages 1.5 to 5, though Henry is very advanced for his age.
As is appropriate for such a momentous occasion, Henry and I dressed up to have our picture taken with his very first Lego set.

It's possible that I was a little more excited than Henry.

Granny got Henry a pair of pajamas with All-Star written all over them, well the front anyway.

Right now it's Mom and Dad who are batting clean-up.

In anticipation of the warmer weather, we bought a hat for Henry to shield him from the sun. It just so happened that he looks super cute in it.

A few Mondays ago Erin had to work, so we called in a few expert babysitters to take care of Henry for the day, Granny and Aunt TM.

Henry doesn't quite understand what's so funny but he's happy to play along.
Henry has been enjoying experiencing new tastes lately. We’ve given him pureed bananas, carrots and squash. He’s getting better about eating from a spoon but as you can see plenty still manages to miss his mouth.
