Posted on Saturday, August 29th, 2009 at 12:16 pmHenry is at 36 weeks now which means just three days from now he’ll be be considered “full-term”. Lately when people ask us if we’re ready we just say, “We’re ready as we’ll ever be. On Tuesday we have our last ultrasound which should give us a lot of information about how and when Henry wants to come.
Erin at 32 Weeks
Posted on Friday, August 7th, 2009 at 8:00 amIt’s getting closer and closer to time for Henry to make his appearance in the world. So, naturally Erin’s stomach is growing to accommodate. She’s feeling great, with only occasional bouts of uncomfortableness.
The next big milestone will be our week 37 ultrasound. It should give us a lot of information about how ready Henry is for his arrival.
We’re getting more excited as the days count down. Now any time we have to put something on our calendar for September we wonder if Henry will be here by then.
Henry at 30 Weeks
Posted on Monday, July 13th, 2009 at 5:35 pmAt Erin’s last doctor appointment her doctor was surprised at how much her tummy had grown since the last visit. Henry’s sonogram today confirmed that Henry is already above average. He weighs 3 pounds and 14 ounces which is two to three weeks ahead of average. If Henry decides to stay put for the full 40 weeks and grows at the normal rate of half a pound a week, he’ll be a nine pound baby.
Everything else looks perfect. Erin will start visiting the doctor every other week now, as is normal, just to make sure everything stays on track.
Erin at Six Months and Three Weeks
Posted on Monday, July 6th, 2009 at 8:00 amHenry is growing and Erin’s tummy is having to accommodate by expanding too. Complete strangers are starting ask questions about Henry like, “When is your baby due?” Erin even had an older lady randomly touch her tummy at the airport while asking questions. I was grabbing the bags and didn’t get back in time to fend her off.
FYI, this picture is about a week old, I was a little slow in posting it.
