Henry’s fifteen month check-up was a few weeks ago. The visit included the usual weighing/measuring, as well as 2 shots. Henry was a trooper and didn’t cry or fuss at all. Dr Mathieu said Henry is healthy and doing great. Henry’s current stats are:
Head circumference: 19.5 inches – 95th %ile
Height: 32.25 inches – 75th %ile
Weight: 26 lb 2 oz – 70th %ile
Next doctor’s visit will be when Henry is 2 years old. Surely we’re not going to have a 2 year old anytime soon?!

Here's what 26 pounds and 32 inches looks like in person

Henry is six months old now. This first half-year has been a fun adventure that seems to have passed quickly and it’s getting harder to remember our lives pre-Henry. At his six month check up, Henry weighed 18 pounds and 4 ounces and was 27 inches long. This places him in the 75th percentile for height and weight.
At six months he’s accomplished the following milestones:
- Rolls from back to front
- Eats: Carrots, Bananas, Green Beans, Peas, Apple Sauce, Squash, Pears and Cereal

Henry recently passed the two month mark. Unfortunately, this meant his two month doctor’s visit was unavoidable. He received two shots which neither he nor his parents enjoyed.
At two months Henry has achieved the following milestones:
- Weight: 12 lbs. 8 oz. (75th percentile)
- Length: 24 inches (90th percentile)
- Rolling over from stomach to back
- Recognizing faces
- Holding his head up for minutes at a time
- Imitating vowel sounds
His growth this month isn’t quite a dramatic but you can tell he’s a lot more expressive and aware of his surroundings.

On Wednesday Henry turned one month old. The occasion was marked with a birthday text from Oppa, a birthday hat courtesy of Uncle Chuck and apple dumplings from AJ.

No, of course I didn't want a hat but what choice do I have.

- Weight: 9 lbs. 14 oz.
- Length: 22 inches
- Smiling
- Following people or objects close up with his eyes
- Cooing
- Holds head up for brief periods
