Now that Henry is outside Erin’s stomach, we’re taking our “Size of a…” series in a slightly different direction. Each month we’ll post a picture of Henry and his teddy bear. Over the course of his first year it should be neat to see how much he grows. Here’s the first installment at four days old.
I got this idea from some friends of ours who also have a blog for their son.
In case you need a universally constant description of Henry’s height, he is .17 light nanoseconds (the time it takes light to travel the length of Henry’s body in a vacuum [Don't worry, the light goes in the vacuum not Henry's body] )

Don't worry, the bear is just a stuffed animal.

Henry is at 33 weeks now which means he’s the size of a honeydew now. We’re getting to the point where I’ve stopped mentioning how big Henry is getting to Erin because as she reminds me, he eventually has to come out.

I guess I'll have to teach him that real men sweat, only girls dew.

Henry is almost 30 weeks now and apparently that means he is now a squash.

The vegetable not the sport.

Henry is now an eggplant, well as big as an eggplant now that we’re at the six month mark.

I'm sure I'll like Henry more than I like eggplant.

Henry’s size can no longer be accurately described by week. He’s so exceptional, he’s already defying categorization.

The fruit everyone's heard of but no one has tasted.

Henry has broken out of the fruit comparisons and is now moving on to vegetables.

This week Henry is the size of a sweet potato.

Erin has a book that compares the size of a baby during pregnancy to various types of fruit. This week baby VanDyke is a peach.
